Task

  • Develop a modern and responsive website design.
  • Perform layout and integration with CMS OpenCart.
  • Show a wide range of products and concisely show them in the catalog by sections.
  • Unload and qualitatively process all categories of goods from 1C.
  • Conduct internal testing and basic optimization of the online store for the requirements of search engines.
  • Flexible configuration of extended e-commerce (Google Analytics Enchanced eCommerce).

Challenge

  • Personalize unique prices for different types of users. After registration on the site it is possible to have individual prices: wholesale / small wholesale, etc .;
  • Unload prices for current customers from 1C;
  • Generate a price list that will be updated daily and automatically reload according to the prices in unloading;
  • In addition to “Cart”, enter “Bookmarks” (saved items);
  • Implement the ability to filter products in the catalog: by price, by model, by name, by popularity;
  • Adaptation the site for mobile devices.

Solution

  • We chose CMS OpenCart, which is best suited for creating online stores with a wide range of products. In practice, this means for customers – easy search, easy navigation, purchase history and the ability to view the status of their own order. For managers – easy management of an unlimited number of products, customers and orders. This CMS allows (if necessary) – to expand the functionality.
  • We performed unloading of multi-currency prices from 1C with subsequent conversion into hryvnya.
  • “Nova Poshta” and LiqPay payment system were connected.
  • Implemented multilingualism at the site: Ukrainian and Russian languages.
  • A price list was implemented in the footer, and it can be downloaded in pdf-format.
  • We have designed a new brand name for a registered trademark.
  • We have shown a flexible system of discounts and an individual approach to each client.

As a result, we have a practical and convenient online supermarket, with ~ 5000 items, which is effectively used by our customer to sell goods with prompt delivery, convenient form of payment and individual approach to each customer.
