MIGRATION FROM WORDPRESS TO SHOPIFY

Moving from WordPress to Shopify is always a strategic step for growing an online store. WordPress is great for blogs or informational websites, but when it comes to scaling worldwide sales and managing products, Shopify offers much more flexibility and tools as all-in-one commerce platform.

The process starts with analyzing existing content: which products, categories, and pages need to be migrated. Next, data is exported from WordPress and imported into Shopify, taking into account the store structure and SEO settings. At the same time, the store’s design and functionality are set up: payment systems, shipping options, and marketing tools are integrated. The final stage is testing all processes and launching the fully operational Shopify store.

DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY

During the project, we faced a challenge where the initial scope of work significantly increased: the client’s designer added several new blocks and variations that were not included in the original technical task and project estimate.

We adapted quickly to the changes and updated our workflow. Thanks to clear project management system, all additional elements were implemented to a high standard and delivered to the client on time. This experience showed that even when the design isn’t created by our team, we can take on the task and deliver results without delays.

PRODUCT CATALOG, CATEGORIES, AND PRODUCT PAGE

Each category in the Livetleker product catalog has clear navigation, allowing users to find the products they need really quickly. We also added brand filters, making it easier to browse over 100 popular adult toy brands.

The product page is designed in a minimalist style with a focus on user convenience. Every product includes a detailed description, technical specifications, and customer reviews to help shoppers make informed decisions. Large images and clear buttons are used to make browsing and purchasing fast and intuitive.

SOLUTIONS FOR ADULT STORE

•We developed a Shopify online store from scratch for adult products, using the design provided by the client.
•We migrated the site from WordPress to Shopify, transferring all products, descriptions, media files, and client settings while preserving site structure and SEO data.
•We created a flexible site template (core framework) to serve as a base for launching 15 other client stores worldwide, including multiple block variations for adaptability.
•We ensured the template works fully even without third-party apps, such as wishlists or customer reviews, so the store will remain stable if these features are disabled.
•We integrated all the needed Shopify apps.

RESULTS

This complete solution for an adult toys online store not only let us build the first core store for global sales of “toys for life”, but also set up a strong Shopify template to grow the client’s businesses in new markets, keeping the site fully functional and flexible for future projects.
