GOTUNA
GoTuna is a multi-brand music store offering top-tier musical instruments, audio and studio equipment, and software from leading global manufacturers. This project was developed for expansion into the European market.
About the project
We built an online store on OpenCart, integrating it with Odoo ERP. Our work included implementing an AI-powered plugin for generating product descriptions, embedding an audio player in product pages, designing a custom menu, and refining the role management system in the admin panel.

AI-generated product descriptions
We integrated an AI-powered plugin that automatically generates product descriptions, streamlining catalog management. This feature saves time and ensures high-quality content for every item.
Audio player in product pages
To enhance the user experience, we integrated an audio player into product pages, allowing customers to listen to instrument or equipment sounds before purchasing. This feature provides a more immersive shopping experience and helps users make informed decisions.
Integration with Odoo
We connected the online store to the Odoo ERP system to automate inventory, order, and stock management. This improved internal workflows and ensured real-time data synchronization.
Custom menu
We developed an interactive burger menu with animated category icons. When opened, icons smoothly highlight in a blue circle upon hover, with corresponding menu items and submenus appearing alongside them. This enhances navigation, making it both user-friendly and visually appealing.
Quick content editing
We integrated and adapted a quick-edit plugin for OpenCart 3.0, allowing content managers to edit text and images directly from the front end without accessing the admin panel. This significantly simplifies and speeds up content updates.
Challenges
One of the main challenges was aligning design expectations throughout the project. Design adjustments at different stages required additional modifications and adaptations, making the process of finalizing the online store more complex.
