OVERVIEW

Layout development and integration of a new design for the Shihiko online store on the Shopify platform, in collaboration with the creative team at Blacklead Studio. Online store optimization for improved speed.

SHOPIFY LAYOUT DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION

We precisely implemented the new design of the online store, created by Blacklead Studio, for the Shopify platform. Since some Shopify apps have styling limitations, we adapted them to closely match the original design. This allowed us to maintain the desired visual style without compromising the functionality of the online store while ensuring proper operation across various devices.

CHALLENGES

The main challenge of the project was ensuring that the Blacklead Studio design was fully implemented within Shopify’s constraints. Many of the design features required third-party apps, which often come with fixed styles and limited customization options. Our goal was to adapt their appearance as closely as possible to the approved design.

Another challenge was the impact of multiple installed apps on the store’s loading speed.

PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION

The large number of installed apps significantly affected the store’s loading speed. To address this, we analyzed all connected services and implemented Page Speed Optimizer, which improved performance without sacrificing functionality.

Additionally, we minimized unnecessary requests and optimized resource loading, which significantly boosted the store’s speed while preserving all essential user features.

RESULTS

We redesigned the Shopify-based online store, integrating a new design and all necessary features, including a wishlist, loyalty system, and social login. We also optimized the store’s loading speed to ensure a seamless user experience.

As a result, Shihiko now has a modern, fast, and fully functional online store that meets the demands of today’s e-commerce landscape.
