Shopify layout development and integration
We precisely implemented the new design of the online store, created by Blackhead Studio, for the Shopify platform. Since some Shopify apps have styling limitations, we adapted them to closely match the original design. This allowed us to maintain the desired visual style without compromising the functionality of the online store while ensuring proper operation across various devices.
App integration
To enhance the functionality of the online store, we integrated several key apps:
- Wish List Plus – enabling users to create wishlists.
- Page Speed Optimizer – improving the store’s loading speed.
- Hiko Social Login – allowing login via social media.
- Bonify Customer Account Fields – adding custom fields to user accounts.
- Joy Loyalty Program – implementing a loyalty system.
Each app was carefully configured to ensure a seamless user experience while maintaining the store’s performance.
Challenges
The main challenge of the project was ensuring that the Blackhead Studio design was fully implemented within Shopify’s constraints. Many of the design features required third-party apps, which often come with fixed styles and limited customization options. Our goal was to adapt their appearance as closely as possible to the approved design.
Another challenge was the impact of multiple installed apps on the store’s loading speed.
Performance optimization
The large number of installed apps significantly affected the store’s loading speed. To address this, we analyzed all connected services and implemented Page Speed Optimizer, which improved performance without sacrificing functionality.
Additionally, we minimized unnecessary requests and optimized resource loading, which significantly boosted the store’s speed while preserving all essential user features.
