About the project

Development of a scalable online store that ensures stable performance under high load and supports extended functionality for equipment sales and maintenance.

Tasks

  • Ensure stable performance of the online store with traffic up to 100,000 users per month and the ability to scale 5–10 times
  • Implement a flexible architecture that allows for the addition of new features

Challenges

The main challenge of the project was the scale of tasks and limited implementation time. Additional complexity came from integrating 1C: it was necessary to account for stock in multiple warehouses, set up automatic price updates, and ensure correct transmission of all order types. This required precise system synchronization and well-thought-out technical solutions.

Integration with 1C accounting system

To ensure the accuracy of stock and price data in the online store, deep integration with 1C was implemented. The system automatically synchronizes product availability in warehouses, updates prices, and transmits all types of orders, ensuring accurate and timely data on the platform. This optimized product management processes and ensured uninterrupted store operation.

Technologies

The project was implemented using React and Laravel. React provided a dynamic interface, while Laravel ensured stable backend performance and scalability. These technologies enabled effective 1C integration and resolution of all technical challenges.

Content manager automation

Scripts were developed to automate the process of setting characteristics (colors, memory capacity) in product cards, brands, and models, as well as for conveniently linking variations. This significantly simplified the work of the content manager and saved time on updates.

Functionality optimization

To improve functionality, changes were proposed to the logic of faceted filters, product comparison, and pages for favorites and promotions. The client approved these changes, making navigation more user-friendly and intuitive.

SEO settings and optimization

To ensure stable organic growth and visibility of the online store in search engines, detailed SEO settings were implemented. This included optimizing the site structure, meta tags, product cards, and content to improve indexing and raise search rankings. All measures contributed to increased visibility and attracted more target users.
