About the project

Redesign of the online store, layout development, and integration of an accounting system into the client’s existing OpenCart CMS to ensure the optimal performance of the online store.

Technical solutions

The integration of ERP system and the resolution of bugs from the previous build increased the stability of the online store. Installing a batch editor enabled bulk product editing, simplifying the management of the entire catalog.

Challenges

Challenges included working with the existing admin panel and integrating ERP system, which required additional support to understand the system’s specifics and eliminate bugs. A batch editor was installed to streamline the product assortment management, allowing the admin panel to be updated quickly.

Usability

The user-friendliness of the online store was significantly improved through intuitive navigation, enabling users to easily find the products they need. Keyword search works flawlessly, quickly providing relevant results. The checkout process was optimized, ensuring a smooth experience at every stage for customers.

Filter system

The site’s filter system includes a convenient slider for selecting price ranges, allowing users to quickly find products within their budget. Additionally, multiple options across various categories can be selected, simplifying the search process and enabling personalized queries.

Seamless checkout process with additional options

The checkout process is organized into three simple steps: “Contact Info – Payment Choice – Delivery Choice.” For payment, we integrated the LiqPay system, and for delivery, Nova Poshta + Nova Poshta Courier and UkrPoshta systems. Additional features include promo code functionality and the option to send items as a gift.

Solutions

To optimize the assortment management processes, a batch editor was implemented, enabling bulk product editing. This solution greatly simplified the admin panel updates, saving time and resources, and improving efficiency in managing the product catalog.

The MAKE project became a successful result of comprehensive work aimed at redesigning an online store for mobile gadgets and accessories, introducing new tools, and optimizing processes. Thanks to the setup of the batch editor and solving technical issues with the system, the online store acquired a modern look and functionality, significantly improving the user experience and product management.
